Semi-dwarf, super fine rice variety. Plant height 90–95 cm. Non-lodging and erect growing with good tillering habit. Panicle is well exerted, compact with more number of grains. Medium slender yellow colour grains. Non-shattering, easily threshable. Suited to all areas where BPT 5204 or Sona Masuri is cultivated. Good cooking quality and fetches more market price.
